Breathwork
Come back into your body.
Release what’s been held.
Remember what’s already whole.
Breathwork is a powerful, body-based practice that helps you access deeper layers of awareness, emotion, and self-connection — without needing to talk, analyze, or “figure anything out.”
This is an invitation to slow down, soften your nervous system, and let your body do what it already knows how to do: release, regulate, and restore.
What This Breathwork Experience Is Like
This is a guided, music-supported breathwork journey designed to help you drop out of your head and into your body.
During class, you’ll be lying comfortably on the floor as I guide you through a three-part, rhythmic breathing pattern. The breath gradually shifts your nervous system and brain state, allowing access to deeper emotional and somatic awareness.
The journey includes:
Guided transformational (holotropic-style) breathwork
Breath holds and nervous system integration
A guided meditation
A period of quiet, meditative stillness for integration
Each class is gently opened with an explanation of what to expect, and we close with space for reflection and optional sharing.
Total time: up to 2 hours
Experience length: approximately 60 minutes of guided breathwork + integration
No prior experience is needed. You simply show up, lie down, and breathe.
How Breathwork Works
From a neuroscience and trauma-informed perspective, breathwork works because it directly engages the nervous system — the part of you responsible for stress, safety, emotion, and survival responses.
When we use a conscious, rhythmic breathing pattern:
Carbon dioxide and oxygen levels shift slightly, altering brain activity
The thinking, analytical mind (prefrontal cortex) softens
Deeper brain centers related to emotion, memory, and instinct become more accessible
The nervous system moves out of chronic “fight, flight, or freeze”
This creates a state where stored tension, emotion, or unresolved stress can safely move and release — often without needing words.
In short:
You’re not forcing anything. You’re allowing the body to complete what it’s been holding.
Emotional Release, Psychology & Energy Movement
From a trauma psychology lens, many emotions and experiences are stored somatically — in the body, not just the mind. Breathwork gives these sensations a pathway to move.
People often experience:
Emotional release (tears, laughter, shaking, waves of sensation)
A sense of clarity or insight
Feeling deeply grounded, calm, or connected
A return to a felt sense of safety and presence
From an energetic perspective, breathwork helps move stagnant or blocked energy through the body, restoring natural flow and coherence. Nothing is forced. Your system only releases what it’s ready to release.
Every experience is different — and every experience is valid.
Who This is For
Breathwork can be especially supportive if you:
Feel stressed, overwhelmed, or emotionally “stuck”
Spend a lot of time in your head and want to reconnect with your body
Are moving through a life transition or healing process
Want a deeper relationship with yourself without over-talking or analyzing
This practice is gentle, guided, and trauma-informed.
