Why Not?

My cousin and his partner got tattoos that say, “Why not.”
It’s something I’ve been contemplating ever since.

It resonates with me.
It speaks of possibility.
A call to say yes.

This idea surfaced again while I was working with Dr. Claire Zammit, founder of the Institute for Women’s-Centered Coaching. During a workshop she invited us to ask ourselves a simple—but powerful—question:

“Why not me?”

That question is why I’ve taken this leap.
To start my own business.
To make my own way.

I’ve always been someone who questions the system—quick to point out what’s broken, but rarely with a clear solution in mind. Ironically, I’ve worked within large medical systems since becoming a nurse in 2009. It was the path of least resistance—the easiest way to get a job, the safest way to build a career.

I’ve spent years focused on all the ways our healthcare system prevents people from receiving better care—and all the ways it prevents me from giving better care. The ways pharmaceutical and insurance companies dictate how medicine is practiced… The ways we’re often encouraged to treat symptoms with pills, rather than address the underlying causes… The expectation that evaluation, diagnosis, and management occur in 20 minute time slots…

It’s been disheartening to feel like such a small cog in an enormous wheel.
Always questioning, “Can I make a difference?”
Is the system simply too big for one person to change.

As a nurse, I thought becoming a Nurse Practitioner would give me more power to create change. Yet, my doctorate degree didn’t made it easier. For a while, it made me question my place in healthcare altogether. How could I ever feel truly fulfilled working within a broken system? I’ve thought so many times over the years, “There has to be a better way.”

For so many years, I’ve been waiting for someone else to lead the way.

And then this simple question changed everything:

Why not me?

Maybe it was time for me to stop complaining and walk the talk.
To lead the way, instead of waiting for someone else to take the first step.

I may be one person among billions, but one small stone can create ripples across the sea. I am here to reach as many women as possible—to help them come into their true health*—mind, body, and spirit—from the inside out.

This work is about getting stronger in your body.
Feeling more confident in your skin.
Having more energy.

But it’s also about something deeper.

It’s about reconnecting with yourself.
Trusting your inner wisdom.
Reclaiming your power, your voice, and your sense of purpose.

It’s about healing not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually—so you can show up in the world more fully, more authentically, and more aligned with who you truly are.

This is also about supporting and witnessing you step into the truest, most beautiful version of yourself—the version you are proud of. The version you are meant to become.

We all deserve this.

So I’ll ask you:

What have you dreamed for yourself that you were too afraid to pursue?
Who do you want to become? Is there a subtle voice in your head—or in our culture—that is holding you back?
What do you feel called toward, but haven’t yet taken the first step?

I’m here to ask:

Why not you?
